VIDEO: Matthew Stafford profiled on E:60

Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE

Like Calvin Johnson back in August, E:60 took a look at Matthew Stafford this week.

When a new season of E:60 premiered on ESPN back in August, one of the features focused on Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. The video showed a different side of Johnson by taking a look at his family and his life growing up. His transformation into Megatron and one of the NFL's best players was also a big part of the story.

Earlier this week, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford became the latest Detroit athlete to be featured on E:60. Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander was also profiled on this season of E:60, and Stafford joined the group this week with Rachel Nichols taking a look at his life growing up in Dallas and how he emerged as one of the nation's top quarterbacks. The feature also focuses on Stafford being picked No. 1 overall by the Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft.
