Lions vs. Seahawks inactives: Kevin Smith active this week

Dave Reginek

The inactives are out for Sunday's game between the Lions and Seahawks, and Kevin Smith isn't on the list for a change.

The inactives list is out for Sunday's game between the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks. For the Lions, it includes several key contributors on defense who are out because of injuries. Linebacker DeAndre Levy, cornerbacks Bill Bentley and Jacob Lacey and safety Amari Spievey are all inactive for the Lions. As a result, Ashlee Palmer and Jonte Green are in the starting lineup, and Ricardo Silva is going to start as well, according to Chris McCosky.

Here's the full list of inactives for the Lions:

QB Kellen Moore
OT Jason Fox
OT Corey HIlliard
LB DeAndre Levy
CB Bill Bentley
CB Jacob Lacey
S Amari Spievey

What jumps out to me about this list is that running back Kevin Smith isn't on it. This means he is active for the first time in a while. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean he will get back into the rotation at running back, but at the very least I'm glad he is dressing for the Lions after what happened on Monday.

Here are the Seahawks' inactives:

WR Doug Baldwin
WR Braylon Edwards
OG John Moffitt
DE Jason Jones
DT Jaye Howard
CB Danny Gorrer
CB Byron Maxwell
