According to the Cleveland Browns' Joshua Cribbs, Detroit Lions running back Jerome Harrison is "doing pretty bad" and has been in and out of the hospital with seizures.

During last week's Thursday night game, Cleveland Browns wide receiver/returner Joshua Cribbs was knocked out on a big hit by a Baltimore Ravens player. The hit was scary to watch live, as Cribbs was immediately knocked unconscious. I'm sure it was even scarier to watch if you are a relative of Cribbs, and he admitted this week that his family wants him to stop playing football and simply retire.

While talking about his family's concern for his health, Cribbs mentioned Detroit Lions running back Jerome Harrison, who had a brain tumor discovered last year while getting a physical after being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. The trade was voided, and the Lions placed Harrison on the reserve/non-football illness list back in May. That was the last we heard about him, but Cribbs provided an update on Harrison while talking about how his wife wants him to see another specialist just to be safe. Unfortunately, it's not a positive update. From the Cleveland Plain Dealer:

"She wants me to be seen by another specialist," he said. "She wants me to get a CAT scan, especially with what happened to [former Browns running back Jerome Harrison, who had a brain tumor removed]. I still go over to his house every now and then and talk to him. He's doing pretty bad. He's in and out of the hospital with seizures. They just don't want the same thing to happen to me."

It's been almost a year since that trade happened and doctors thankfully discovered Harrison's brain tumor. He remains in everybody's thoughts here at Pride Of Detroit.
