The Detroit Lions will have the services of both Drayton Florence and Louis Delmas on Thursday.

The Detroit Lions' secondary got good news when the inactives were announced for Thursday's game against the Houston Texans. Specifically, that good news is that cornerback Drayton Florence and safety Louis Delmas are not on the inactives list. Both players are set to start for the Lions on Thanksgiving, which should hopefully give a nice boost to the secondary.

In less surprising news, offensive tackle Jeff Backus is in fact out with an injury. This means his streak of 186 consecutive starts is over.

Here's the full list of Lions inactives:

QB Kellen Moore
WR Titus Young
OT Jeff Backus
OT Corey Hilliard
DE Ronnell Lewis
DT Corey Williams
CB Jacob Lacey

For the Texans, the most notable inactive is cornerback Johnathan Joseph. An injury is keeping him out, meaning the Texans will have to find someone else to cover Calvin Johnson.

Here's the full list for Houston:

RB Ben Tate
WR DeVier Posey
OT Andrew Gardner
OG Cody White
DT Shaun Cody
LB Tim Dobbins
CB Johnathan Joseph
