This is a testament to how great of a man and player you are. Most recently I attended the Lions @ Packers game in the snowy, wet, coldness. I was so excited as it being only my second Lions game ever to attend. In all honesty though there was one part I was most excited about, seeing Megatron play; and boy was I not disappointed.

You were amazing to watch! On the field you gave your all and even if the catch looked like it was out of your reach or the play was impossibly failing you tried your hardest in every way to keep it going. Even making what would be six yard catches into first downs by doing that lovely spin backwards and lunge gracefully to the marker. On the sidelines your presence was felt from even where I sat up in the stands. That giant smile of encouragement always pushing your team forward to play its best, even when the odds are against us. In the end the Lions lost, but I left that game feeling satisfaction watching not just a Lion great but an NFL legend in the making.

I cannot imagine the frustration you have with this team, but unlike other stuck up people you let your play speak for yourself and for the team. You could go on after every loss and complain to the world about the absurd mistakes of your team but you play and week after week deliver. Over the course of your time in Detroit you have amassed 55 total Touchdowns. That is near double the amount of wins Detroit has in that same amount of time (29). Yet you still play lights out. I would dare call you near legend already; when at the end of a loss the announcers declare you were shut down today with 10 catches for 118 yards. ........yep, "shut down".

Finally, if anyone deserves the MVP, I say it goes to you. You are the Most Valuable Player in this league, especially to us Lions fans. If you do gain the title of the Most Receiving Yards in a season that will make this season worth it. Through all the crap and idiocy we have seen if that was endured for you to break that record, it was worth it. So thank you for all you have done for this team and its crazy fans. You are CJ, Calvin Johnson, #81, Megatron, a freak of nature, unstoppable, breathtaking, and most of all a true Lion.
