I think the Fords should offer Jimmie Johnson a veritable kingship over the Lions. He should be offered a total-control situation that gives him the powers of General Manager, Head Coach, and Director of Football Operations. A move like this seems to be the only answer for a team that has suffered through losing and mismanagement for so long. All these other names like Billick and Phillips just don't make sense to me. Mayhew needs to go too, he's had 4 years of high draft picks and free agency, and the team is still short on talent.
