Cough Cough Cough...Well boys I decided POD has been lacking the Profiler point of view and decided to take a few moments to drop some truth on the masses. So here it goes! Stop blaming Schwartz for everything! I am a twitter addict and I seen Schwartz name attached to every profanity you can think of. Plus a few new ones I think. There comes a time when players need to look in a mirror and take account for the actions that they set in motion. Titus Young is not Jims fault. Titus problem is just Titus and Schwartz and company are handling it the only way they can. Young is throwing a lot of talent down the crapper and all the Coaches can do is not let him take Broyles and the boys down with him. I understand the frustration but I for one am tired of seeing Schwartz put players in position to win games like today and players simply failing. Players have to make plays! The only thing a coach can do is put them in position to make those plays. Don't give me the we had bid interceptions from the Florence and Carey today. Mayhew has failed to give the coaches a solid secondary and when the game was on the line the colts were running in for a touchdown. No one took it upon themselves to make a tackle. The Lions have young talent coming out of there ears! They have kids playing a mans game that is the number 1 problem! Suh your a beast I belive you are a HOF talent. Man up take resposabillity for your life! Yeah not a popular view but this more about Kids with no real team leaders than it is about bad coaching. With that said Gunther Cunningham...Get rid of him. Hate if you want Gunther is a good coach and a passionate man. His anger and off the handle reactions are NOT helping matters. I honestly believe Schwartz has done the best he can with what he has. They must add veteran leaders to this team. Nate is great so is KVB. The Lions don't have a top of the food chain player. When you mess up they don't have a person on the team to make them accountable for their reactions. The best coaches have link between him and the players. Schwartz does not to my knowledge have a Ray Lewis or Warren Sapp to handle these problems. If someone dosen't step up and start handling the locker room problems instead of expecting the coach to do it. All is lost. Find a leader and success will follow. With that said I expect Stafford and Calvin to be that on offense I don't see that guy on defense. I see a disconnect in leadership on defense. I expect tons of disagreement here but thats my view.
