During Sundays game between the Panthers and the Raiders, QB Cam Newton lost his cool while trying to get up from the pile after a play and kicked the Raiders defender squarely in the facemask.

Well, "kick" may be a strong description of what actually took place, but there is no doubt about Newton's intent.

I'm curious to see how the league handles this...Suh's stomp garnered a fine and 2 game suspension and his 'inadvertant' kick to Schaubs groin cost him another league fine.

I think Cam's infraction falls somewhere in between and should be either a fine larger than Suh's groin kick (at the minimum), due to the intent/aim being unquestionable or a 1 game suspension (at the maximum) due to the fact that a serious injury could have resulted (forcibly changing the head/neck area of the Raiders player).

I suspect that because of who was involved and the position played, nothing will come from this at all though.
