Yet another Detroit Lions defensive tackle is injured, as Sammie Hill missed practice on Wednesday.
Injuries have not been kind to Detroit Lions defensive tackles as of late. Corey Williams and Nick Fairley are both on injured reserve, meaning depth is already quite thin at the position. It's now even thinner with Sammie Hill dealing with a toe injury that kept him out of practice on Wednesday. It's not clear if he will be able to play on Sunday, but if he can't go, we could see Andre Fluellen start just weeks after he rejoined the team.
Here's a full look at the Lions' Wednesday injury report:
WR Calvin Johnson (Knee/ankle) - Didn't practice
TE Brandon Pettigrew (Ankle) - Didn't practice
DT Sammie Hill (Toe) - Didn't practice
CB Chris Houston (Hamstring) - Limited in practice
S Don Carey (Knee) - Fully practiced
S Louis Delmas (Knee) - Didn't practice
And here's a look at the Chicago Bears' Wednesday injury report:
RB Armando Allen (Knee) - Didn't practice
RB Matt Forte (Ankle) - Didn't practice
OT Jonathan Scott (Hamstring) - Limited in practice
DT Henry Melton (Chest) - Limited in practice
LB Brian Urlacher (Hamstring) - Didn't practice
LB Blake Costanzo (Calf) - Didn't practice
