On Thursday, the Detroit Lions saw five of the players who were out on Wednesday return to practice on a limited basis. To be specific, the five players were Gosder Cherilus, Lawrence Jackson, Jacob Lacey, Chris Houston and Louis Delmas. This is a good sign for Sunday, as there was some concern about the status of Cherilus and Jackson. Cherilus was dealing with soreness in both knees, while Jackson was previously out with a concussion. Given that they practiced on Thursday, it seems they are on track to play on Sunday night.

The bad news from Thursday is that Nick Fairley was out with a quad injury and Corey Williams was out with a knee injury. Williams is likely just resting as he's done in the past, and it's possible that Fairley is in a similar situation. Even so, this will be worth keeping an eye on, as the Lions really can't afford to be without Fairley given how well he has been playing as of late.
