VIDEO: Matthew Stafford Tosses Passes Off Roof Of ESPN Building

Stay connected for news and updates

He wasn't in Bristol for long, but Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford did quite a bit while on the campus of ESPN last week. He stopped by SportsCenter for an interview, and he also filmed a "This Is SportsCenter" commercial with Harry Dawg, the University of Georgia's mascot. The latter of those two things was the main point of his trip.

During the filming of his commercial, Stafford took to the roof of one of ESPN's buildings and launched passes to visitors and employees of the company. ESPN uploaded a video of this today, and it's pretty funny. Why? Just marvel at how much some of the people struggled to track down Stafford's passes:

I have to say, this is a much more fun offseason for news about Stafford than last year. A year ago, Stafford was coming off of shoulder surgery and we were still wondering if he would be able to play a full season. This year, he is busy collecting awards, making promotional stops and having fun by launching bombs off of ESPN. What a difference a year makes.
