Who falls to us this year do we trade up stay put or trade back. What free agents do we sign. aside from our own.
Mayhew says he will be aggressive on the trade market, makes me wounder who and what for, Draft picks???
My main concern as was last year is OLine, we all know Backus and Dom are not lasting much longer and NEED
to be replaced as well as KVB.. In my opinion theese are our top 3 needs and need to be addressed. in one way or another.

Slight oversight I'm sure, but...
2 and 6 are both Richardson
Almost there...
Mike Adams
Vontaze Burfict
Michael Brewster
David Molk
Really?
This is the most absurd list I’ve ever seen. Kalil and Reiff are better than Martin for starters. Kalil is considered one of the best OT prospect in years. The first LT taken in the draft last year (Tyron Smith) played RT in college because he wasn’t better than the LT on USC (Kalil). Take that into consideration.
Also there is NO WAY that Chase Minnifield can be considered more talented than Kirkpatrick AND Denard.
IMO Martin is a better run blocker and can be just as good a pass blocker more up side
and I took caracter into consideration

Chase Minnifield shouldn't be on this list.
The guy is overrated. He consistently got burned by non-NFL talent in the ACC. There is no way he is rated higher than Dennard or Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick could fall to 23rd because of his own stupidity with the weed factor but that would be a big win for the Lions.
No offense, but....
this is based on what? Youtube videos? Are you a college scout? Is this a mash-up of all the various “big boards” out there? ’Tis the season.
Look, I think you should at least have some sort of blurb here stating how you came up with this list and your background. I could make a big board of all the college players that I’ve seen play and that the Kiper’s of the world find interesting, but it would mean squat. Maybe I’ve simply grown so cynical about this process that I can’t take anyone seriously.
We’ve had guys on this site lobby so hard for players they think should be taken at #13 that get taken at #39. We all know very little and it shows after the draft. Everyone has a mock… everyone has a “big board”. So many of these draft posts are worthless. Stick to something that gives us insight or information. I think the scouting reports that give us information about players are good. I think it’s fine to discuss team needs and players that might fit. Just spewing a list of a bunch of players you “think” are good really is a waste of a post…… in my most humble and cynical of opinions……
Drew
look in the archives I have been here awhile now and I am not new to this site, infact was here for the Pride mock last year and picked for the Phins and yes thats right http://www.prideofdetroit.com/2011/5/1/2148361/who-got-it-right-pod-mock" > got my pick 100% correct because I do my homework, and Y’all busted my balls when I picked Pouncey. I am NOT an expert nor do I claim to be but I am an amature draftnik and I am home on sick leave with a torn back muscle and have an opinoin so I posted it and I will post more as the draft nears

What Drew was probably saying was
Maybe give us some insight on WHY you put this player here, or that player there. I would like to know why you have DeCastro ranked at 11. I’m no scout, but it seems like every other scout says he’s the best guard they’ve seen in a long time, almost a can’t miss pick wherever he’s taken. I think if he’s anywhere near 23, Mayhew is going to be thinking long and hard to trade up.

Yeah... no personal attack or anything.
I just want some meaning behind some random list of dudes. Anyone can simply put together a list of things….
1. Blue
2. Silver
3. Black
4. White
See? But what is this a list of and why should I post it for the POD world to see? Put some context and have a reason for the post.
Favorite colors, btw……
ok ok ok more content next time

chuck, I can see leaving QBs off your board, but WRs and DTs?
If there is an outstanding player that drops to the Lions, who they have ranked well above the # 23 spot, they would be foolish to pass him by. Yeah, they will get mocked about picking three DTs in a row, or “another” WR, but if he is clearly the best player available, they should take him. Stuff has a way of sorting itself out.
If you take the DT, maybe that means Corey becomes expendable. If you grab the WR, it allows the receiving corps a lot of flexibility and depth, again it may open up some options in the near future.
I don’t believe the Lions will take either a WR or a DT [in the first round], but you should not leave them off your Big Board.

I like Janoris Jenkins a lot
Props to you ranking Jenkins at 12.
A lot of people on this website hated on Jimmy Smith for his off the field issues. Turns out he did not let those issues carry on into the season. Adding to that his post season performance was good too.
Personally I’ll ignore the off the field issues and assume the foundation in the locker room can police rookies themselves. Jenkins is a quality talent this year and I am surprised to see how undervalued he has been thus far. Jenkins @ 23rd ftw
the next list will be more informitive
and I will have WR’s and DT’s listed I just wanted to do this one to see what it would look like and get feed back thank you all for reading.
