So, last year a lot of people wanted the Lions to go after free agent safety OJ Atogwe from the Rams. Much to the disappointment of many here, he signed with the Redskins. Well, less then 1 year after signing a 5 year, $26 million deal with the Skins, Atogwe is back on the market.
Last season he had some health issues, hamstring, toe, knee, pride...he actually ended the year as a back up. Now, with the thought that Detroit needs some help with the back 4, is Atogwe worth taking a look at...or did Mayhew make the right call on passing on him?
I personally think it might be worth kicking the tires on him...give him a look see. Heck, why not bring Jarred Page into the conversation also. Right?
