Hey everyone. I have in mind an interesting project, but lack the data. I am hoping we might have a source available to us that will make an analysis like this possible.
What I want to do is have the salary information, per player and divided by team. Essentially, we could see all the player salaries for each team over a series of years.
We could see how the cap is/was distributed. Did they have a method to their madness, and if so, is it copyable? Are the Lions following a particular blueprint. Is it a blueprint that will be successful? Are there better blueprints for the players/coaches/schemes we have? Is there a correlation between a blueprint/plan team and success?
TL;DR? Where can I find yearly, team by team data of individual player salaries/cap costs? I would think 10 years would be a good size.
