It appears business could be starting to pick up on the Stephen Tulloch front. There hasn't been much news about him since NFL free agency began last week, but Jason La Canfora reports tonight that the Lions are working to get him re-signed.
Lions making a strong push to retain LB Stephen Tulloch. Could be on of several LBs to stay with most current team #freeagency

This news comes shortly after it came out that middle linebacker David Hawthorne will be visiting the Lions on Tuesday. Hawthorne has already visited the New Orleans Saints, and he has been considered the backup plan for if the Lions are unable to re-sign Tulloch.
If the Lions' strong push actually results in Tulloch re-signing, then it won't be necessary for Hawthorne to visit. The Lions will have their starting middle linebacker coming back and will be able to focus on other positions moving forward.
