Remainder of Free Agency . . . getting tired of complaints

Okay lets first state the reason of the article headline. The simple fact is I am sick and tired of people complaining about why we did not get such and such. The simple fact is we had no money to give out. We have to save at least 3 million for the draft. After that we had Calvin's contract that needed to be redone. Once that was done we had enough money to get some of our own FA's signed up. So after all of the past weeks work I put together the current cap situation. The simple fact is tying up our current FA's ate up all of the money we had for this year. Getting such a such player is not in the cards. Here is the deal if you can figure out where to find the money to sign a 5 million dollar a year CB let me know because they have maybe a million left to spend. So that gives them maybe a 1.5 million dollar contract. If we Cliff signed to a long term deal then we can talk about signing some more Free Agents. So what Free agents are left, well lets take a look.

Now I could list FA QBs, OL, DL, or LBs but we are not hurting in those areas for players. Rather RBs, WRs, CBs, and Safeties we are light in. Now are we going to re enter the market, more than likely. Will the list be as large as it is right now I doubt it. We are still about 10 players from being ready but I think we are close. I still think we need about 3 more WRs, 3 CBs, 2 Safeties, and 2 RBs plus a kicker. So we have some moves coming but getting to the free agent market is going to happen if we get contracts at the league minimal or if we get Cliff to sign a long term deal. BTW the list players I took from WalterFootball. That site is great and has more info if you are wondering. They even have info from previous years FA market so there is a way to figure out the 32 compensatory selections as well if somebody has a few weeks to kill.
