So just in researching the 2012 draft - I've been looking at safety for the later rounds - and just for grins I went back and read the old scouting reports on Delmas and Spievey. And WOW - some great stuff jumps out at you - I can totally understand the thinking behind those picks now - So - How come they haven't really shown out for us yet? I understand that there is injury involved and Spievey making a position change, and then just, the normal NFL learning curve is somewhat steep for a safety. Apparently Gun is very high on those guys still - So can anyone intelligently scout their game as it stands today for us? - Do we need help at safety? I know the Lions are courting Otogwe right now and he has been a highly paid starter in the league. So what gives?
