With all the talk of New Orleans Saints breaking the Bounty rule, I can only think of one play. The low hit on Brett Favre in the NFC Championship game. I was disgusted that New Orleans went to the Superbowl and won it after that illegal play on Farve that messed his ankle up good. If you remember, Favre threw an interception and had room to, and should have, run for a first down? Well he was physically incapable because a Saints Lineman clearly went for his legs (illegally) and ruined his ankle on the previous play.
Being outraged by that play was enough, and now they are accused of putting bounties on players such as Favre? I was so upset that I believed they should have their Championship revoked. That may be overboard but my rage took me there everytime I thought of the situation--until now.
Chris Harris comes out and says, I am paraphrasing, "all NFL teams use the bounty system". Seriously Harris? I would love that fact you were "so truthful" if you still played for the Panthers or the Bears. But you don't, you currently play for the Detroit Lions. A team that had some serious PR issues gaining a reputation as a dirty and/or undisciplined team. Can you say target? True or not, whether it was Chicago or Carolina, and not Detroit, ZIP IT!!!
