How's everyone feel about this? I know I read somewhere that Cliff said he would holdout if he was hit with the franchise tag, and Mayhew has stated that he really doesn't want to use it either.
Personally, I think we should sign him long term or just let him go. I'm just curious how everyone else feels about us using the franchise tag on him, especially after he said he would likely holdout if he was franchised.
