Colts will cut Peyton free?
This really does not have anything to do with the Lions but it is still an interesting NFL story.
Apparently, the Colts are going to release Peyton ending a 14 year career with 12 of those years being great. This is the end of an era in the NFL. I was always of the opinion that QBs of Peyton's caliber hurt their team more than helped them because of their salary demands but he was a huge winner.
It should be interesting where he ends up. Does he go for the one last big paycheck or does he go to the place best suited to help him win a title?
