POD audiophiles,
As we enter the portion of the off-season that should be called "Death by Speculation", I thought we could use something to take our mind's off of the Lion's salary cap woes and endless mock drafts. My biggest interest after Lions football is music, so I thought I would get a little conversation going to see what Motown is listening to these days. Are you a fellow heavy rocker like Jimmy Schwartz? Or are you more along the lines of Justin Durant and are up on the newest R & B? Do you stay loyal to the D with Jack White, Kid Rock, and a little Motown blues?
Personally, I respect the classics, but I really dig innovative new rock. To get things started, here is a list of some of my favorite artists in no particular order
-Arcade Fire
-Black Keys
-David Bowie
-Jack White (White Stripes, Raconteurs, Dead Weather)
- LCD Soundsystem
-Spoon
-Iron & Wine
-MGMT
-The Beatles
I wrote a guest post on a friend's music blog that was published this morning which I will shamelessly plug here(http://littlebylisten.com/2012/03/09/lxlistening-lovehate/). I'd love to hear your thoughts both there and here. So what are you guys in to? What are your top 10 favorite artists/bands?
