I'm proud to say I did not fall for this particular April Fool's joke. Admittedly, I was pranked about five minutes into the day, but as soon as I saw what this video was about, I knew it was a joke. We all know there is no way the Lions will suddenly introduce cheerleaders, because that's just not the type of team they are. What's more, the fact that the announcement was on the Free Press' website instead of the team's official site also served as a giveaway.

Personally, I think it would've been funnier if the Lions tried this tomorrow or something just to really throw people off. Can you imagine how much outrage there would be over the addition of a group of cheerleaders that is all male? That would have been hilarious.
