Not a single player who was publicly known to have visited the Detroit Lions in the lead-up to the 2012 NFL Draft was actually picked by the team. All of the players went somewhere else or went undrafted. However, one of the undrafted players did end up in Detroit after all. From Aaron Wilson:
Weber State OL J.C. Oram to the Detroit Lions, per a league source.
— Aaron Wilson (@RavensInsider) April 29, 2012
J.C. Oram visited the Lions back on April 13. West Virginia cornerback Keith Tandy and Purdue offensive tackle Dennis Kelly were also in Allen Park that day to visit with the Lions. Today, Tandy was picked by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round and Kelly was taken by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round. Oram didn't get picked, but now he is set to join the Lions.
