Defensive backs and LB's at OK have multiple resposibilities under Stoops Venebale defenses, so these guys have been coached to Stop the run, cover the short passes and shut down Tight ends. 8 Gunther is well familiar with the Coaching and schemes in place at OK, his eye on the value of the foundations of these players must have given the room full confidence this draft day could really be special for the Lions.
