The Detroit Lions have added a running back to their group of undrafted free agents. Former Penn State running back Stephfon Green has agreed to a deal with the team, meaning the one-time Nittany Lion is set to become a Lion in the NFL.

It appears there were rumors about Green landing with the New York Jets at one point. He denied the rumors on Twitter, saying that he didn't sign anything. Shortly after, he tweeted this:
I am a detroit lion! God is GOOOOD!!!

The Lions are a pretty good team to land with as a running back simply because of the uncertainty surrounding the position. While the Lions do have Jahvid Best, Mikel Leshoure, Kevin Smith, Joique Bell and Keiland Williams, there are injury concerns abound at the position.
Green may not make the team, but if he can catch on as a member of the practice squad, he may get a chance on the active roster at some point.
