I have been reading up a lot on Leshoure's suspension status. Trying to find anything that would hint to a resolution to the situation one way or another. Something I found interesting, it seems Leshoure's attorney told the judge that Leshoure is already enrolled in the leagues substance abuse program.
This is good news. Goodell is a lot of things and one of them is man that believes in second chances. Because of the short time between his incidents, it may end up being a situation where Goodell pretends both cases are one and lets it ride. Leshoure is being subjected to 2 to 3 tests a week. I get the feeling Goodell is going to give Leshoure a second chance here and base any future discipline on failed tests or a lack there under the leagues substance program.
Long and short of it, I think we might just be catching a break here people. Leshoure might just sneak by without a suspension from the league. Now, if I were honest, I would say the Lions need to suspend him for a game or two but that is another discussion.
