I dont pretend to know everything about football and you guys always have good insight so just trying to see what others are feeling about the upcoming season. Sorry if this has been posted already but I just have not had as much time to check out POD over the last few months.

I am curious how everyone feels about the lack of turnover from last season to this season. Do you think it is a positive or a negative? We do get to add (hopefully) a healthy Nick Fairley and a healthy Mikel Leshoure (obiovusly to be debated but reports sound positive) as well as any draft picks and FA's that make the team and contribute, and we get the consistency in our roster that this team has not seen for quite some time.

I know our defence was ravaged through the last portion of the season with injuries, penalties, and lack of discipline. Can we expect a large improvement with continuity or do we still have a lot work to do? I think that our ST's (which has been discussed at great length here) needs to be much better, We gave up so many big returns that allowed teams to flip field position on us too frequently.

All in all I think everyone seems fairly confident in our offence but its our D and ST's that most of us have questions about, I like that we are adding some more depth to the CB and LB positions but I hope that we can see a bit more of the early season defence from last year if we stay a bit healthier on the DL and CB. I am personally not too concerned about our D as I remember how well they played early on in the season before injuries started to take its toll. Our DL took a big hit with the Ndamukong Suh suspension, the injuries to our depth DE's and the season long myriad of foot problems to Fairley. Not sure if I am overconfident about the D but I am curious as to what everyone thinks about the D and what we can hope to expect?
