NFL Network's "Top 100 Players of 2012" series is going to wrap up on Wednesday night. Matthew Stafford and Ndamukong Suh have already been revealed as the 41st and 38th players on the list, respectively, and Calvin Johnson is going to be revealed as a member of the top 10 on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, FOX Sports released its own list of the top 100 players in the NFL. Like the NFL Network series voted on by the players, Stafford, Suh and Johnson are all on the list. Their positions in the rankings differ from the NFL Network list, though.
Specifically, both Suh and Stafford are ranked higher on FOX Sports' list. Suh is all the way up at No. 24, which is surprisingly high. Stafford is also higher at No. 30.
Unlike Suh and Stafford, Johnson is probably lower than where he will be on NFL Network's list. We don't know his exact position right now for that, but FOX Sports has him ninth, which seems a tad low. I would have moved him up at least a few spots, and I probably would have done the same with Stafford. The trade-off is that I probably would have Suh lower, so all in all it's not too bad of a list.
