Sorry but football news is slow and I would rather talk about something other then our players getting into trouble.
What says POD Nation about us picking up ole' Chad ?
Personally I think it would be a good thing. I believe he has something left in the tank. I believe over his career at the Bengals he never was made to run EXACT routes like with the Pats. I truly believe that he " felt " his way through a route and had some wiggle room before. That being said, I think what the Pats asked him to do, took away from him being who he was. I would like to see him opposite CJ and see what happens with Young stretching the field with Pettigrew and Nate running around the middle. I think he could be had for cheep and if you add in Broyles then that makes for one stacked squad. You never know with injuries coming along, he could help out greatly. Also there is nothing saying Broyles will be healthy and who he was in college after his injury.
Some will say he is drama but I disagree a bit. He might have been a little over the top with celebrating and TV shows and such. He kept his nose clean with the Pats, never was spoken of as a bad locker room guy or someone who did not practice hard. Also he kept his nose clean off the field as well. Maybe I am forgetting a incident or two but nothing comes to my mind on him making major problems.
