I was listening to Sirius NFL Radio on Sunday and Jim Miller said that according to Jon Gruden, Ryan Broyles is going to be the next Tim Brown. That is high praise!!
Tim Brown played college football for Notre Dame where he won the Heisman Trophy, becoming the first Wide Receiver to win the award. He spent sixteen years with the Raiders, during which he established himself as one of the NFL's most prolific Receivers. With the Raiders, Brown was a 9 time Pro-Bowler, who was named to the 1990's All-Decade team while gaining over a 1,000 receptions for close to 15,000 yards and 105 touchdowns.
If Broyles is the next Tim Brown, then we got quite a player.
