I have been reading and watching and lamenting since we drafted Ryan Broyles ahead of other prospects that could have offered depth at other position of possible need versus want. When I first saw, live, that we drafted him I was like, what??? Then, immediately, my brain and memories started to work and remember. I am an avid watcher of football on Saturdays, Sundays, and the Sportcenters that follow at night and the following morning.
I distinctly remember Ryan Broyles name pop up, before he got hurt, as much as Michael Floyd and Kendall Wright, if not more than, Alshon Jeffrey and Brian Quick, and so on. Broyles was on fire. Unstoppable. And the best part is that he runs screens, bubbles, the reverses, finds the holes in zones, the fades, the slot post patterns, and the outs from slot. You name it he has a highlight catch. He also is elusive and can break a few tackles. He has some speed, as well. We do not know what he will be when he is fully healthy, just like Leshoure, Fairley, Best, and Kevin Smith. What I do know is that Oklahoma plays top competition and he has produced. That is what we need is for him to produce. I found this highlight film and loved it. Please watch it and comment just on what you see. No projections. Because they are for over-paid analyst. We did the same for Leshoure last year remember. No qualifications. Just pure, uninhibited writing for what you just watched. At 6:30 in the video he does an awesome double move that Calvin will want to learn (joke)!!!
