With training camps around the NFL set to open in the coming weeks, there is still some work to be done in terms of signing draft picks. 31 picks from the 2012 NFL Draft are currently unsigned, according to Pro Football Talk.
One of them, as you probably know, is offensive tackle Riley Reiff, the Detroit Lions' first-round pick. The Lions have all of their other draft picks signed, so Reiff is the only one still in need of a deal. In all, there are 14 first-round selections still unsigned.
In the NFC North, only the Lions and Minnesota Vikings still have unsigned picks. For Minnesota, first-round pick Matt Kalil and third-round pick Josh Robinson are unsigned. Both the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have inked all of their picks to a deal.
It's not expected that any contract issues will result in Reiff missing time in training camp. While it is taking longer to sign him than I expected, it'd be surprising if he remained unsigned for too much longer.
