Calvin and Titus

Story after story confirms Calvin Johnson's humble and down-to-earth work ethic. He has cemented himself as one of if not the best receiver in the NFL. I have never seen Calvin act arrogantly. He raises himself up with his play, not his words. Contrast this with the quote from Titus today via Dave Birkett:

Titus Young was asked today how good he can be. Said when Barry Sanders called name at draft "it just felt like he was passing me the torch"

My questions for debate is this: How much does personality effect play on the field? Does Titus' attitude (whether it is arrogance or extreme confidence) help or hurt him? On the flip side, does Calvin's attitude help or hurt his performance on the field? Or does personality not make a lick of difference between the lines? Perhaps it all comes down to raw skill and preparation, no matter what your attitude is...
