A pretty obvious post here but I just wanted to bring up the idea of Mayhew trading for MJD and see what the reaction is. A player with his ability would make a very big difference to the Lions running game and would be the last piece of an elite offense. Best probably wouldn't pass a physical, but if there was some way to get around that, he could be included in a trade. I understand that the Lions bigger needs are on defense, but adding a player like MJD would help the Lions keep their offence on the field longer and take some heat off the defense. I know this is a very unlikely scenario, but I'd love to hear what you all think.
