Worried About The Playoffs

Stay connected for news and updates

So over on ESPN they're starting to use that touchscreen media board to make their 2012 / 2013 preseason playoff picks for the NFC and AFC.

I was watching today when Marcellus Wiley picked the Lions to make the NFC playoffs. He said that the Lions " have too many weapons ". However, what scared me, was all the excellent to good teams he moved over into the " Out " column - The Giants (WTF) , the Saints, the Cowboys, Falcons, Redskins, Cardinals, Seahawks, and Buccaneers.

If I remember correctly he picked Green Bay and San Francisco. Then he picked Philly and Detroit, and then Chicago and Carolina to all make the NFC playoffs.

The Lion's week two matchup against San Francisco is gonna be a real rip snorter ! We'll see in that game how we match up against an elite NFC team with a tough defense, on the road, on national prime-time TV, and with some surrounding hype and drama from " handshake gate " to have to deal with. We'll also need to maybe win a couple games of that caliber to make the playoffs, since there are so many other NFC playoff challengers this year.
