I am not that into him, and am hoping that better guys get released, but I wouldn't mind it... as a last resort.
The Washington Redskins will be releasing running back Tim Hightower on Friday, according to a report by Grant Paulsen. Hightower was attempting to return to the team's running back rotation after tearing his ACL last season. He practiced in pads for the first time since the injury on Aug. 22 prior to playing in Washington's final preseason game against the Colts last Saturday.
