I for one, prefer it done now than later.... pre-emptive surgery is much better. With a scope/clean out... Delmas could be ready to go by the first game of the year... and that is what I expect as a fan.
Positive spin on this is... it gives Don Carey and a couple other younger Safeties some more reps and experience. It also will give the FO and medical staff a clear picture of the stability and overall health of Delmas's knee.
Get well, Delmas... we need you for a full sixteen game this year!!
