Hey all, glad to see our two squads squaring off again in what is a pretty big Week 2 contest. In spite of the storylines the national media will push on an unsuspecting nation, we both know this game is about so much more than petty controversy. Jim Harbaugh was asked about the handshake at his Monday press conference and he basically said he had too much respect for the players in this game to let that be a driving storyline.
That nonsense aside, this will of course be a big game given the thrilling end to last year's matchup. These were two evenly matched teams last year and it was fitting that it went down to the wire. 49ers fans are riding high after winning at Lambeau, but the 49ers team is looking like they are very much taking a business-like approach to the season so far. We'll see if there's any sort of hangover from Week 1.
I realize some NN folks got into it with people here last year, but hopefully we can have some fun, positive discussion this week. It should be a fun matchup.
