Just a hunch. Based on my view of Schwartz’s strategy. He knew that he could sit Delmas last week against an inferior Rams offense. He also didn’t want SF to have any tape on Broyles. Delmas wouldn’t miss this game for the world. He would play if he had a broken arm. Broyles is going to be a HUGE part of the game plan tonight. He has a gift for getting open. He will be Staffords target for short passes to supplant the running game as well as being a clutch receiver on 3rd downs to get those tough first downs. The fact that SF cant game plan for Broyles give an added advantage.
