Well guys, I was at the game this week and what a game it was. For us Titans fans, we all pretty much seem to be in agreement that this was the best all around game we've ever seen. However, I know it was a heart breaker for you guys so I won't rub it in too much. What I do want to say is I have nothing but respect for Lions fans after what I experienced Sunday.
Before we got to the game, a friend of mine mentioned that he thought there would be a pretty good number of Detroit fans there. I didn't think too much about that...but then I got there. You guys were freaking everywhere. I was sitting pretty high up in the top deck, corner endzone.
We were absolutely surrounded by Suh, Stafford, and Johnson jerseys. In front of us, behind us, beside us....everywhere. And while of course the celebrating when Bironas missed his field goals was incredibly annoying, I and every other NFL fan would do the same thing. We chatted a little with the Lions fans behind us throughout the game and we were some of the few that stayed till the end. And even after they clearly had their hearts broken, they were willing to shake our hands and smile about the historic craziness we just witnessed.
So I just wanted to come on here and let you guys know I have nothing but respect for Detroit, not only because I as a Titans fan love Jim Schwartz and KVB (never cared much for Tully) but because I've never had anything but a positive experience with Detroit fans. Keep up the classiness guys....and watch out for Dave Ball on Thanksgivings...that guy gets pretty hungry
