To all Ricardo Silva fans there, I just heard that the Lions have signed him to the active roster from the practice squad. To make a place on the roster they released Jerome Murphy who was recently claimed off the waivers from the saints. Silva has been pretty solid while not a great player. I guess we need solid more than great at this time. Whatever happens, Silva's presence solidifies the defensive backfield for a certain extent compared to the productivity they would have seen from Murphy. And we have our underdog story for this year. I hope he stays in the active roster and with Delmas returning after the bye week, our backfield woes will mostly be out of the door.
