As at ease as Stafford is with his celebrity, there's no denying what drives him on the field.
Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan tells stories of getting random late-night text messages from Stafford with playcall ideas for certain defenses he expects to see on gamedays.
Receiver Nate Burleson said Stafford's cool demeanor extends to high-pressure situations on the field, like when he came to the huddle down six, 98 yards from the end zone last year against the Raiders, flashed a smile and confidently told everyone, "This is what we play for," before leading the game-winning drive.
Even Stafford, in an honest moment, admits he wants to be mentioned with Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Drew Brees as one of the NFL's elite quarterbacks.
Of course, he knows that won't happen until something else does, that same thing Hill said it'll take for Saturday Night Live to tab Stafford as host.
"It seems to be after Super Bowl championships," Hill said. "So we get one of those, I think he's got to go."
This is his team and he wants it (the Superbowl) bad. This team will get there.
