Tavon Austin

Ok, I understand the last thing we want to be talking about is drafting a high draft pick on offense in a position most don't feel of need but hear me out. Tavon Austin is exactly what this team needs, a quick player with great vision, good hands, and versatility. He can be put in the backfield as a RB or he can be an absolute monster in the slot. Very much like Jahvid Best, but in my opinion much more versatile. That being said I do like Ryan Broyles and think he can make a huge contribution next year as a #2 but beyond that I'm sorry but I have very little faith in Titus Young growing up.

I propose this for the simple fact that we need a consistent player to help contribute to this offense and with the BPA drafting strategy I could see it happening. He's a play maker both on offense and kick/punt returns, would add that threat that we need to keep defenses honest and take some pressure off of calvin. Let me know what you think, I understand that this is quite a reach at pick 5 but if for some magical reason mayhew was able to move us a bit lower in the draft he could be a great asset to this team.
