Chris Rainey was released by the Steelers after an altercation between him and his girlfrlend during the teams offseason. I know there are already some trouble makers on the team but, when Rainey was on the field especially returning kicks he nearly doubled Stefan Logan (597yds) kickoff return output with (1035yds)and the best part about it is he only had 11 more returns than Logan did, He also compares quite well to what we are missing in our running back Jahvid Best and could play that speed back to spell Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell which would give Matthew Stafford that weapon he is missing.

I know the team is having issues with Titus Young right now but combining his return ability and also showing in college he was capable as a receiver out of the back field at Florida with (69 catches, 795 yards and 6 TDS) which actually is better than what Jahvid Best did in college with (62 catches, 533 yards, and 6 TDS).

Whatever he does in his personal life is his business he seemed like a good team player from the steelers games that i caught and with that kind of production difference between him and those two players Logan (21 yard kick return avg) vs. Rainey (26 yard kick return avg) doesn't seem like much but 5 yards is big deal in field position game and also averaging 3 more yards per catch out of the backfield than Best was coming out of college.
