2013 NFL mock draft database: Picks for Lions as of 1/15

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Which players are the Detroit Lions projected to draft this year? Let's see what the 2013 NFL mock draft database has to say.

With the Detroit Lions once again picking in the top five, there is a fairly limited group of players who are projected to go to them in 2013 NFL mock drafts. After having much lower picks in the first round the last two years, this is essentially a reversion back to what we're used to. You won't find a ton of disagreement on the Lions' first-round pick in terms of which position they will select this year, and there is quite a bit of overlap from one mock to another even with which player they are expected to take.

So which player is the favorite to be picked based on 2013 NFL mock drafts? And which position is the most popular for the Lions? In order to find out, I've assembled a 2013 NFL mock draft database that runs down the various projections for the Lions (major hat tip to The Phinsider for the idea). At the very end, we'll tally up the numbers and see which players and positions are getting the most run so far in mock drafts for the Lions. Check it out:
