Well I seen it on Twitter, it's what Pride of Detroit tweeted. If you guys don't follow POD on Twitter (@PrideOfDetroit) the tweet basically said that Reggie Bush returning to the Dolphins as 'highly unlikely' via retweet of @CBSFantasyFB.
I think this is huge for the Lions. Bush would be the perfect replacement and complimentary back to Jahvid Best and Mikel Leshoure. He is a quick, elusive player that we have been lacking. It would add another element to our offense that would force teams to game plan around. This also helps take pressure off of Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson to have to make all the plays. Bush had pretty pedestrian numbers last year with 986 yards rushing on 227 attempts (4.3 average) and 292 yards receiving on 35 catches (8.3 average). That helps in the pocket though. I figure Reggie won't be able to get quite a heavy contract seeing this would be his 3rd team in 8 years. That way, we get a decently cheap scat back and eliminate a need in the draft so we can spend our picks somewhere else. Not to mention he can return kicks and punts. It's 3 birds with 1 stone if you ask me!
Well tell me if I'm crazy or not in the comments and as always, Go Lions!
