As you may or may not know, I work at Ford Field doing security. Last Thursday at the Thanksgiving Day game I had a situation where tickets were sold twice to the same seats. I had to escort all guests involved to the ticket office so they could assist us in finding out who had the good tickets and who didn't. As it turns out... the guests who purchased their tickets though the Detroit Lions website/NFL Ticket Exchange had the good tickets and the guests who purchased their tickets through Vivid Seats had the bad tickets. The guests with the bad tickets did nothing wrong but because it was a sold out game, we could not relocate them. They might be able to contact Vivid Seats for their money back but I am not sure. I have heard that StubHub will credit customers when this happens. I personally have never had an issue with StubHub but now I will think twice about using them or any other ticket source.
