Things are lining up for the Lions!

I just hope they take advantage of things and keep on winning. That's the name of the game in the NFL and in pro and college sports in general. There's a good chance that the Lions will not face either Jay Cutler or Aaron Rogers in games this month as they're out with injuries. Not saying the Lions will AUTOMATICALLY win, but their chances just got better. We need to keep Matthew Stafford healthy and upright. I wrote a post on should the Lions look at Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin possibly for 2014. The more I think about it, I like our rookie combo of Larry Warford and LaAdrian Waddle or LW squared as I like to call them. Those two guys are young, big, strong and athletic and they can really open up holes in the run game which makes life easier for Reggie Bush and Joique Bell. Defensively, I hope Ziggy Ansah is alright and can finish the second half of the season strong. We need his pass rush. And I still would give Nnamdi Asomugha a look to see if he can strengthen up our secondary for the stretch run. If all goes well, the Lions should win the NFC North and are legitimate Super Bowl contenders. With Cutler and Rogers down and the Minnesota Vikings falling fast, everything is set up for the Lions to steal the division. They literally need to take the ball and run with it!
