Hey guys, I think its safe for me to assume that we all love the game of football or else we wouldn't be on this site. We all look forward to September each year as our weekends are already set aside to watch our favorite college and pro teams go at it, feel sorry for all the wives and girlfriends out there! But my question to you is what if we had no more NFL, college football or even high school games to watch as no one wants to play anymore because the physical risks are too high? We all know about the huge NFL settlement of $750 million to former players who sued because the league didn't warn them about concussions. That's not to mention all the other aches and pains former players suffer as they have permenant damage to the knees, back and entire body. There are more and more reports about the head trauma from playing football on all levels and fewer kids are playing Pop Warner and high school ball which greatly reduces the talent pool for colleges and eventually the NFL. I know many of you out there play Fantasy Football and look forward to that more than you do the actual games. But what if it all went away? How would you guys cope on weekends during the fall? Do you agree with former Lions Hall of Famer, Lem Barney, when he said football is deadly and will be gone in twenty years?
