Will these guys be back in 2014?

Nate Burleson, Brandon Pettigrew, Dominic Raiola, Israel Idonjie, Chris Houston, RaShean Matthis, and David Akers. These guys listed are either free agents too be, highly paid veterans or north of 30 years of age. The Lions might decide to make a couple of them salary cap casualties and bring in some young blood. If the Lions draft a receiver in round one, it wouldn't be good for Burleson as he's had injury problems the past two years. They might want to move on from Dom too even though 2013 was probably his best season. If Jim Schwartz gets fired as expected, the new coach may be a smash mouth football guy and want to give Mikel LeShoure a chance to play. Whoever the next coach is, I hope the can maximize Matthew Stafford's talents. I still think Staff can be a high caliber QB in this league like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. But he must be honest with himself and work hard this offseason. He didn't endear himself to Lions fans when he said he didn't need to work with a quarterback guru this offseason. I'm sure many of you out there would beg to differ!
